Brian Moore moves at the speed of culture. As a Director of Product Management for Salesforce Marketing Cloud, he’s helping reshape the global playbook on B2B marketing. But beyond the enterprise boardroom, he’s also pushing boundaries at the intersection of data and creativity through Hilo Música and Cinco Pistas—two projects powered by a tech foundation he built from scratch.
Brian isn’t just forecasting the future—he’s architecting it, one stream, one campaign, and one beat at a time.
The Product Leader Who Thinks Like a Producer
“My path started in retail analytics,” Brian says. “I was neck-deep in data for nearly a decade—watching consumer behavior shift, learning how people move, and how brands either follow or get left behind.”
That instinct—to predict movement and drive strategy—led him to product leadership at Salesforce, where he now leads Marketing Cloud initiatives for Reporting, Analytics, and AI. But it also led him to music.
When Brian saw a gap in music infrastructure—no efficient, affordable platform for independent creators to distribute at scale—he built one. That platform became Canis Major Digital, a tech engine designed to support emerging and elite creators. Think of it like Alphabet to his Google: the parent company quietly powering Moore’s bigger vision.
Powering Culture with Tech
That vision? Hilo Música—a next-generation creative collective and label he co-founded with five-time Grammy Award-winner Dru Castro. Together, they blend sound, story, and science to build new lanes for artists and brands to thrive. “We’re not just releasing songs,” Brian says. “We’re building ecosystems around music—discovery, distribution, and real-time engagement, all driven by data.”
He’s also a founding member of Cinco Pistas, a nonprofit that supports BIPOC producers and songwriters with tools, resources, and mentorship. “It’s about building equity into the creative economy,” Brian explains. “We’re creating access for voices that haven’t always had a platform.”
Where AI, Music, and Marketing Collide
Brian is bullish on AI, but not just as a tool. For him, it’s a collaborator. “Personalization isn’t a buzzword. It’s a baseline,” he says. “If someone buys a ticket to a show, they should get a custom playlist before they even leave the parking lot. That’s where this is all heading—and we’re building the pipes to get there.”
His dual role in tech and music gives him an edge in shaping this AI-led shift. “The music industry is overdue for reinvention,” he adds. “The playbook hasn’t changed much since the early 2000s. We’re rewriting it with real-time data, agile systems, and tools that empower artists, not just exploit them.”
The Bridge Between Data and Culture
Whether speaking to a CMO or sitting in a studio session, Brian’s through line is clear: it’s all about connection. “At the end of the day, I’m building bridges—between brands and people, between artists and fans, and between raw ideas and scalable outcomes.”
With Hilo Música gaining traction, Cinco Pistas creating impact, and Salesforce at his fingertips, Brian isn’t just in the room—he’s shaping the conversation.
